Dr. Cairo Ojougboh, a prominent figure in the All Progressives Congress (APC) and a former member of the House of Representatives serving Delta State’s Ika federal seat, has passed away.
According to family reports, the late politician passed away on Wednesday night, February 7, while watching South Africa vs. Nigeria in the AFCON 2023 semifinal.
“He collapsed the moment a penalty kick was given against Nigeria in the AFCON semifinal match against South Africa on Wednesday in Bouake, Ivory Coast,” a source informed Leadership.
