The question is; where is safe to stay that any kind of accident will sure be averted? Honestly, I don’t know. Just this morning 23rd of January 2017, a bus driver whose name has not yet been disclosed (due to the fact that the eye witness at the place of incident run the same business with him) ran into a busy bus stop at Lekki phase one round about. According to the report gathered from the passers by, the driver was said to have shied away from dashing on an expensive car on the road but instead faced the busy bus stop at Lekki after loosing its brake. The driver was said not to wait any seconds after the whole incident occurred but instead ran away with an oshodi bus to prevent any cost that might be incurred on him for the damage done to the said bus stop.
Will this said driver be left loose in the street of Lagos? or will definitely face the judgement of the government?, not only to be punished for the fact that he damage the bus stop, but for the fact that he never hesitated in claiming the live of people plying the busy route.
As reported, there has not been any major casualty recovered apart from the damaged pavement and drainage-barricade made along the bus stop. The road maintenance department and the force men are there to maintain the good coordination amidst the road users and to pull the bus out of where the driver got it locked on to.
More Report coming soon
