David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, is a multi-award winning artist who recently revealed the plans his rich father, Adedeji Adeleke, had for his career.
At his wedding to Chioma Rowland, his longtime partner, on Tuesday, Davido revealed this.
Davido claimed his father told him he had a vision that he would go from secular to gospel music as he was conversing with some of the event’s famous attendees.
Davido said in the now-viral video, “My dad told me, ‘David, I had a vision that you ended your music as a gospel singer.’”
One of the guests responded to this by yelling, “So shall it be!” while a few more people chanted “Amen!”
The wedding, held in Lagos State, drew dignitaries such as governors, prominent traditional rulers, and celebrities, who graced the ceremony. On Tuesday, it became the most trending event in the nation.
