Nigerian singer, Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, also known as Ayra Starr has credited her mother and American singer/businesswoman, Rihanna as her fashion influencers. The ‘Sability’ crooner, disclosed this in a recent interview with Kiss FM, London, United Kingdom. On where she got her sense of style from, she said, “It’s everywhere. You know, people inspire me. Everybody inspires me. All the baddies on the gram. All the sabi girls. Everybody; my mum, my aunty, Rihanna.” She also revealed plans to join the fashion industry in the future.
“Definitely, I was gonna do fashion before I was gonna do music.” Ayra Starr went on to declare herself “president of miniskirts and co.” The 24-year-old singer said she has always known right from when she was five-year-old that she was going to become a global pop star. She said her dream collaborators are Burna Boy and Rihanna.
