Former Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) Regina Askia’s daughter Teesa Williams has embraced beauty pageantry.
Tessa is following in her mum’s footsteps with hopes of being a beauty queen. The 15-year old model is representing Staten Island in the 2017 Miss New York Teen competition and her proud mum shared some photos of her at the pageantry event on her Inastagram page.
She wrote: “My daughter- Teesa Williams 15, Staten Island Teen at the Miss NewYork Teen 2017 competition” At the competition which held over the weekend, Tessa was one of the finalists. In 1988 Regina then a medical student with the University of Lagos was crowned Miss Unilag. That same year, she competed in the MBGN 1988 contest and placed second. She was the first Nigerian queen at Miss International in Japan, where she made an impact with the most outstanding traditional costume.
