The A-list elite were out in force to address the thousands of protesters who took to the streets of New York over the weekend as part of anti-Trump rallies around the world.
And Rihanna also hit the streets and took a provocative stance as she did her part in the Women’s March which took over the Big Apple on Saturday.
The Umbrella hitmaker, 28, pounded through the hordes of campaigners as it turned dark in Manhattan, happily mixing with activists waving placards with feminist messages and statements against America’s new president Donald Trump.
She smiled and laughed as she easily chatted to passers-by and posed with fans in videos while commenting on their banners.
Keeping somewhat of a low profile, Rihanna sported a pink baseball cap and matching hoodie, which boasted the march’s favourite slogan: ‘This p**sy grabs back.’ in reference to the leaked Trump conversation in which he discussed inappropriately touching women. However, she ensured everyone’s knew she meant business – she sported a pair of Catwoman-style black gloves with gold talons attached.
Not one afraid to bring a performance-aspect to her day-to-day life, Rihanna chanted along to protesters’ anthems.
Cinderly co-founder Laura von Holt, who was on the streets alongside the singer, told Mashable: ‘She danced along to the crowd’s chants and chanted along to My body, my choice and Black Lives Matter.
‘She was laughing and chatting with the other protesters, commenting on signs and T-shirt slogans. She seemed very happy to be a part of it. As she left, she waved to all of us and many of us thanked her for coming.’

She captioned one of the snaps: ‘So proud to be a woman!! So proud of the women around the world who came together today for pro-choice!’
