Scam employers are rampant in Kano, defrauding unsuspecting members of the public, with advertisements on various private and government jobs.
Scam job advertisements flood the walls and streets of Kano, a development many perceived as a security threat to individuals and law enforcement agencies.
LEADERSHIP gathered that what started probably two years ago has become a norm almost seen everywhere that phone numbers were written for interested job seekers to call for immediate employment.
The Kano police command spokesperson, DSP Magaji Musa Majiya, confirmed the development to LEADERSHIP.
DSP Majiya stated that police are concerned about it and the intelligence unit have since swung into action by compiling the available phone numbers on such scam advertisements on various walls and pavements.
