Security operatives in Kano State have arrested more hoodlums who looted shops and offices in some parts of the state under the guise of hardship protest.
Bags of rice, cartons of noodles, bags of salt and sugar, gallons of groundnut oils and furniture were stolen by the hoodlums that broke into shops and offices.
The spokesperson of the State Police Command, SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, posted photos of the arrested hoodlums and recovered items.
“This is not a protest,” he wrote.
Recall that some hoodlums also broke into the newly built Information and Communication Technology (ICT) centre in Kano, which is scheduled for commissioning next week, and made away with desktop computers, chairs, keyboards, and other appliances.
