Smokin Hills ushers in Akeredolu with a golf tournament

SMOKIN Hills Golf Resort in Ilara Mokin, arguably Africa’s biggest golf course is agog to usher in the newly elected governor of Ondo State, Barrister Rotimi Akeredolu SAN with a special golf tournament slated for February 24th to 25th, 2017. The Golf Resort tagged ‘Home of endless possibilities for golf and relaxation’ is presently one of the most challenging in Africa, south of the sahara was designed by Ron Garl in 2012 and constructed by one of the top leading certified golf course builders in the world – Messers Total Golf Construction of Florida. Manager Marketing and Promotions Smokin Hills Golf Resort, Prince Bayo Aderinto said the tournament is put in place to mark the inauguration of Barrister Rotimi Akeredolu SAN as the next Executive Governor of Ondo state by friends, well-wishers and corporate organisations. Prince Aderinto said, “Friday 24th February is the practice round/ cocktail party while Saturday 25th Februqry, 2017 is 18-hole golf tournament and evening with His Excellency. “It is pertinent to place on record that about 100 golfers who are distinguished businessmen and captains of industry have signed up to attend this event.”
