Suspended Kogi Central Senator, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has challenged Senate President Godswill Akpabio to take legal action against her over allegations that he orchestrated a plot to recall and assassinate her.

Speaking during an appearance on Channels Television’s Politics Today, Natasha reiterated her claims that Akpabio contracted Kogi State Governor, Usman Ododo, to initiate both her recall from the Senate and her assassination.

According to her, Governor Ododo reportedly responded to Akpabio, saying such actions would be difficult because “the masses are with her.” Natasha further alleged that Akpabio involved former Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, promising to fund the operations.

“But Akpabio was not satisfied; he then called for Yahaya Bello. It was Senator Asuquo who drove Yahaya Bello to the Hiltons. I was informed,” she stated.

She claimed the meeting had two objectives: to initiate her recall and to arrange her assassination. “Of course, money changed hands that day,” she added. “Akpabio told Yahaya Bello to kill me.”

Responding to reports that the Senate President is considering legal action over her statements, Natasha said, “I am hearing that the Senate President wants to sue me for that. I will tell him to go ahead. We will meet and cross that bridge.”
