The Super Eagles players pay homage to the four Nigerians who departed during their encounter against South Africa by keeping a minute of silence.
On Thursday, February 9, the Super Eagles players observed a minute of silence in memory of the four Nigerians who lost their lives on Wednesday, February 7, during their game against South Africa.
An APC chieftain, Cairo Ojougboh, an Ivory Coast based Nigerian businessman, a serving NYSC member as well as the Deputy Bursar of Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete, Alhaji Ayuba Abdullahi, all died on Wednesday night, Feb. 7, while watching the semi-finals between Nigeria and South Africa in the ongoing AFCON
The players assembled, held a moment of silence in memory of the Nigerians who had passed away, and then prayed for God to console their families.
