It has been revealed that the world champion Argentina will play a friendly match against the Super Eagles of Nigeria in March.
The NFF will soon release the precise date of the friendly, which is scheduled to take place at the Guangdong Olympics Centre Stadium in China.
The Super Eagles will use the friendly to get ready for their June 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying doubleheader against South Africa and Benin Republic, according to the NFF.
After two games, Jose Peseiro’s team has yet to secure a victory in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
In their opening encounter, the three-time African champions held the Crocodiles of Lesotho to a 1-1 draw.
In their second match, they too drew 1-1 with the Zimbabwean Warriors.
