Usman Bugaje, a former member of the House of Representatives, has said that President Bola Tinubu is unable to handle the many problems the nation has because he has no answers.
Ever since the fuel subsidy payment was discontinued and the naira depreciated, Nigeria has been facing severe economic difficulties for the past eight months.
While speaking on Channels TV, Bugaje said;
“Everyone knows now that Bola Tinubu’s government has not addressed the most pressing concerns, and he has no answers for the nation’s challenges. We had anticipated that he would surround himself with knowledge once the new administration assumed power. We anticipated that in order for him to have announced the elimination of the fuel subsidy, he would have needed to have a plan in place to deal with the fallout. A policy is never made without considering its implications and making plans to mitigate them. However, it seems that he didn’t prepare for that.
Bugaje held Tinubu’s advisors accountable for deceiving the president about the situation in the nation.
“I notice that Tinubu is surrounded by a lot of sycophancy. He’s not getting any attention from people. The individuals he surrounds himself with don’t seem to have any ideas, and he seems to be quite at ease with them despite their dishonesty. They always appear to be looking for an excuse, and they don’t seem to have any answers to the issues we face,” he remarked.
