A fascinating season from beginning to end is guaranteed as the new campaign will begin on Saturday, August 16, 2025, and the final match round is scheduled for Sunday, May 24, 2026.
The league has significantly altered the festive period schedule in an effort to put player welfare first.
The announcement, “Dates for 2025/26 Premier League season confirmed,” which was taken from the EPL website, highlights a heightened dedication to player wellbeing, especially during the busy holiday season.
To allay long-standing worries about the crowded holiday schedule, no two match rounds will be held within 60 hours of one another for the first time.
On addition, no games will take place on Christmas Eve in 2025—a move that both players and supporters are probably going to appreciate.
“With no two rounds occurring within 60 hours of one another, the schedule continues to allow players more rest time during the festive match-round period,” the announcement stated.
