On Friday, the Supreme Court threw out the 13 states’ lawsuit contesting the validity of the legislation creating the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
In its unanimous ruling, the seven-member panel of justices, presided over by Justice Uwani-Abba-Aji, dismissed the claim on the grounds that it lacked merit.
