The former governor was questioned on the misappropriation and mishandling of N10 billion in Kwara State government funds from 2011 to 2019.
It concerns purported financial misappropriation, diversion, and money laundering. This is the investigation that we started in 2019.
Due to jurisdictional issues, we contacted the former governor and requested that he report to the Ilorin Office. That was the claimed location of his offense.
